The Queen Mary Hospital & Duchess Of Kent Children Hospital (QMH & DKCH) Neuromuscular Disorder (NMD) Program is led by Paediatric neurologists and Professional experienced in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of children with different neuromuscular disease. These diseases required
timely comprehensive evaluation, and expert diagnosis investigations. Our team is dedicated to provide the most comprehensive, specialized and updated care for our patients.
Under the Neuromuscular Disorder Program, the Paediatric Neurologists and other specialists diagnose and treat children and patients with childhood onset myopathies, muscular dystrophies, peripheral neuropathies, motor neuron diseases and neuromuscular junction disorders.
In addition to the regular out-patient Neuromuscular Disorder clinic consultation, Neuromuscular Diagnostic conference conultation, the NMD program also provides in-patient neuromuscular consultation and a full range of diagnostic services and interventions, working closely with other
subspecialties to provide individualized comprehensive care for each patient.
