Dr Siu-yuen CHAN
- Using gene targeting technology, we have generated mice with specific
expression of the EGF precursor in chondrocytes. This will allow us
to dissect in more details the role of EGF in bone development and the
control of body size. A student will be recruited in 2004 to work on
the phenotype analysis of these mice. He/She should not live with pets
in order to have access to the laboratory animal unit.

hyperbilirubinaemic neural injuries, and motor neuron degeneration and
regeneration; with emphasis on studying differential gene expressions,
